Keeping it short and cute this week.
We’re mainly talking looks, but who doesn’t love a fun look?!
I’m seeing Harry Styles tonight, and I’m not the kind of person to dress up like I think Harry Styles is going to fall in love with me the minute his heeled boot hits the stage, BUT I will be wearing my highest platforms because I am 5’2 and I have pit tickets. There is nothing that could make me get there earlier than I have to, to ensure a good spot, because I am a grandma. Therefore, I need to take the precautions necessary to make sure I can see him shimmy and shake. (edit: I did not finish this before my concert, so here’s a picture of Harry in Gucci, looking 10/10)
But enough about my concert fashion strategy. Let’s get into this lil newsletter.
This has to be its own section, because Cardi has been coming for all of the girls at PFW.
Starting off strong with this archive 1995 Mugler look, I was shook to the core.
Followed by archive 1997 Mugler.
No, it literally keeps getting better. The Schiaparelli moment!!!
We’re letting the girls catch one singular breath with this toned down Schiaparelli look, before moving on.
Then she wore one of my favorite looks from the latest Richard Quinn collection!!!
We can’t forget Balenciaga!
The Richard Quinn moment from today (edit: yesterday). Ugh, I don’t want it to end. I’m sure there will be more looks after I send this letter out, but don’t worry, I will include the rest next week.
I would like Christopher John Rogers to dress all ballets until further notice. THANK YOU!
The Row makes clothes for kids now. Suddenly, I’m ovulating.
- Will Smith for GQ; I liked this shoot! The vibe and the outfit choices all feel cohesive. Unfortunately, there is some D&G. We hate to see it. Styled by Mobolaji Dawodu.
- Simone Biles for The Cut; Sometimes a shoot can be stripped down and still be amazing. What really matters here is this amazing article. Styled by Shibon Kennedy.
- Jane Fonda for Vogue Polska; One of my fave people on the cover of the magazine of my homeland. We love. Simple, but that signature hat is really all I needed. Styled by Mary Inacio.
- Zoë Kravitz for AnOther Magazine; This woman can do anything and look good. Literally doing the bare minimum, and we’re here for it. I think people need to start being more comfortable with the human body. Styled by Avena Gallagher.
- Josh O’Connor for ICON Spain; Cute and cozy. This is actually a Harry Lambert stan newsletter if you didn’t know, so. Styled by Harry Lambert.
- Lil Nas X for M Magazine; Okay I LOVE this shoot. The styling, the Petra Collins photography. We love. It’s the ballet slippers for me. Styled by Stella Greenspan.
- Bretman Rock for Playboy; Well this is iconic. I need to see more!!! Styled by Charlie Brianna.
Lizzo in Viktor&Rolf is everything. Is the ‘B’ on the dress missing or do I need a better prescription?
Sydney Sweeney is the face of the latest Guess campaign and she looks gorgina.
This Gucci moment for Billie is sweet.
Loved Jeremy O. Harris in custom Schiaparelli. And the mask!!!
Irina Shayk in 1997 archive Mugler. Yes ma’am!
Dua Lipa in Masha Popova. I don’t even really fuck with butterflies like that, but this top is so cute.
Laverne Cox and the gurls looking lovely in Christopher John Rogers.
Everyone lost their shit over Dakota Johnson in this Gucci look. Is it anything crazy? No. Am I in love with her? Yes.
Chlöe Bailey in Theophilio, fresh off the runway!!! I get so excited every time I see emerging designers. Like, I don’t know you, but I am SO happy for you.
